Monica Allt, founder of Peaceful Living by Design, is one of those people “born organized”. She has a natural, innate ability to look at a space and see its greater potential, to see the beauty beneath. Her boundless energy, compassion and down to earth, enthusiast personality enables her to make any project fun and less daunting.
After 18 years in a successful corporate career as an Interior Designer/Construction Project Manager, Monica decided to let her natural talents take the lead and follow her dreams, to do what she does best. To help people who are feeling overwhelmed with areas in their home and just need a jump start to get them in the right direction. She feels everyone’s home should be their sanctuary, a place where they can retreat to, relax and feel at peace.
Monica is passionate about what she does and gets great satisfaction from helping others to enjoy their life more. She enjoys working closely with people sharing her natural ability to organize and transform chaotic, cluttered spaces into well organized, functional spaces that look and feel beautiful and serene. She finds making life easier for others the ultimate reward.

Monica has an AAS in Business Administration from Dutchess Community College and a BS in Interior Design from the University of Bridgeport. In addition, she has 18 years combined experience as an Interior Designer and Construction Project Manager. Her many years of corporate space planning, design, and furniture and finish selection give her great insight into how to creatively organize and transform any space. Monica is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).
